I love what I do - I'm a mother to my 2 year-old baby girl named Gemma, wife to my amazing husband Scott, sister (youngest of 6) to my wonderful brothers and sisters, and daughter to my supportive and sweet mother and father (may he rest in peace). I am also a photographer in the Bay Area with passion for people and telling stories.
For 15 years I produced video games, focusing mainly on art, animation and story. Now I'm applying those artistic and story-telling skills to my photography and having so much fun!

A natural extension of being a wedding photographer is becoming a family photographer when your couples start having babies. Well I am finding that I love family photography just as much as I love wedding photography. I love all the tiny wonderful and often messy details of family life and love that happen on a daily basis and are yet so fleeting – so many stories to tell, both big and small. I had a super wonderful time with the McCullough family enjoying 10-month old Alexandra and their very patience and laid-back dog Bo who is still getting used to no longer being the only ‘child’. Alex is so full of joy and wonder. She will forever be known as the girl with the photoshopped eyes – her eyes are so naturally gorgeously blue and bright in person and they just popped in the light. Please enjoy some of my favorites from my time with the McCullough family.
She’s learning to walk! I’m sure the next time I see her she’ll be running around and being unstoppable. I love this little moment with her father guiding her first steps.

Julie Ann and Lincoln are the definition of love birds. They ooze positivity and joy with their contagious giggles and smiles. When you are with them you just feel happier. I had the super honor and privilege to photograph their wedding at the be beautiful Mira Vista Golf and Country Club in El Cerrito earlier this year. The day was filled with such joy and live music, I just loved every minute of it. It is not often you see a bride pick up a trombone or a groom serenade his bride on the saxophone during the ceremony.
